I emailed my sister, Ate Tatie, a few days ago to send her an electronic version of Georgia’s birthday invitation and texted my friend, Bernie, about Georgia turning two. Time flies by so fast! She is turning two (i.e. tomorrow, the 4th of August) – she’s a big girl now. It makes me teary (and very happy of course).

(This picture was used for her first birthday invitation. We enclosed a small copy in each invite so that the guests will have a keepsake of the little one. Is this your fake smile, George?)

Big preparations are still ongoing at the moment – I make it a point to organize a birthday party for Georgia (hopefully every year) and this is her second year which is just as important. We already handed out her invitations – among the dogs in attendance will be Max (My sister, Ate Sherry’s pug), Hugo (Ate She’s Boyfriend, Kuya Vince’s beagle), Smeagle (My sister, Ate Tatie’s shih tzu). It will be quite fun and casual and it will just plainly be about  - 1. celebrating Georgia, 2. celebrating the fact that I have her in my life, 3. her turning another year older.

I will post more about this soon (a more detailed account of the big event) but for now, here are a few pictures of her birthday party the year before, when she just turned one (very very important).

(Georgia blowing her first birthday candle. She just turned one then.)

(This was Georgia’s Birthday Cake and Birthday Hat. A doggie cake baked especially for her. It was quite difficult to find a baker. Thanks a lot Mum for helping me out with finding one. On a side note, all the doggies were given a slice after she blew the candle.)

(We also had yummy cupcakes with cut dog paw icing on them and the punch was great. I made a birthday sign for the little one as well.)

(One of her presents were these pink sneakers. Kuya Vince wanted Georgia to try them on They are great and we thank you for the sneakers. Georgia wasn’t very happy wearing them though. She immediately took them off after this picture. Haha.)

(This was after blowing her birthday candle. She really loved the cake. She started devouring it right off the cake tray. She also posed with one of her presents.)

(Ate Sherry carrying Max while Georgia was about to blow her birthday candle. Georgy wearing her birthday hat. She didn’t like wearing it but she did look cute. We took it off after blowing the candle.)

Little Georgy, you will be turning two very very soon. It will make Mummy cry but she’ll be very happy and she’ll be looking forward to another year with you. I love you, Georgia.
